Prosper by the Word (Believe It)

Anecdotally, as many as fifty-percent of Christian churches are not in touch with their Covenant, they do not use a Bible as the hub, the foundation for their doctrine. As they must simply be “making it up as they go along,” it is not surprising that many people live without the benefits of the blessings of God. Because they are unfamiliar with the Bible, they cannot know the benefits of the Word and live instead by the unfruitful doctrine of their church. The following is a bite-sized sample of blessings found in scripture. Don’t believe us, your peers, fellowship leaders, pastors or priests – Believe the Word. Read it aloud. Put yourself into it. Believe it as you speak it. Thank and praise God, repeatedly.

  • 2 Timothy 3: 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 [so] that the man of God may be complete, [and] thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Do not forget, nor turn away from the Words of My mouth. 6 Do not forsake [God’s wisdom], and [it] will preserve you; Love it, and [God] will [sustain] you [in all things. However,] 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.
  • When Jesus met the widow of Nain whose only son had died, and on another occasion, the two sisters whose brother Lazarus had died, He simply spoke to the dead son: “Young man, I say to you, arise.” (Luke 7:14) And, standing outside Lazarus’ tomb, Jesus said, “Lazarus, come forth!” (John 11:43) Both men came back to life.

We (the Redeemed) also each receive certain talents or gifts by which we will contribute to and experience life uniquely. No matter your earthly path, the above is God’s Will for you. But, if you do not want it all, or per former indoctrination believe that these are not all for you, which of these gifts of God are you unwilling to accept? Consider that if you were already a good and extremely wealthy parent, there would be no “good thing” that you would not make available to your children. God is an infinitely better and more capable parent than you – receive what He wishes to give you daily, by Grace and petition.

Many Christians are only now learning how to prosper by Faith (in God’s Word/Will) and Grace, regarding all aspects of life. This does not minimize the value of knowledge, skills, and your earthly experience. But, God is infinitely more capable, generous and needs more than generals, politicians, medical and legal professionals, or those made rich and famous via corporeal means. Remember Matthew 6:33, start and live your day with the Word, interaction with the Holy Spirit, a conversation with Jesus, and see that the promised blessings of God are for all of the Redeemed, everywhere.
